Terms of Use

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

No attorney-client relationship

Using this website, submitting the contact form, messaging us on WhatsApp, or calling our office does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Ashraph & Ashraph Attorneys at Law. An attorney-client relationship is only formed once we have confirmed we can act for you and you have formally engaged the firm, typically in writing.

Until that happens, information you send us is not protected by attorney-client privilege, and we are under no obligation to keep it confidential or to act on it.

No legal advice

The content on this site, including practice area descriptions and any case studies, is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice, and it isn't tailored to your circumstances, so it shouldn't replace advice from a qualified attorney about your specific situation.

Laws change, and how they apply depends on your particular facts. Please contact us directly to discuss your matter before acting, or failing to act, on anything you read here.

Before you send us anything

Please do not send us confidential or privileged information through the contact form, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel until we have confirmed in writing that we are acting for you. We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information sent before a formal engagement is in place, and doing so does not obligate us to represent you or to keep that information confidential.

You may view and print pages of this site for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content from this site for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

This site links to, or lets you contact us through, third-party platforms such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your information. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

No warranty

This site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its content is complete, current, or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashraph & Ashraph Attorneys at Law will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any reliance placed on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
